MIWA EIJI

Eiji Miwa was born in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture in 1993 and completed his doctoral studies at Kanazawa College of Art in 2021. His work focuses on the theme of "painting what you see," and he is a notable next-generation artist.

This exhibition, his first solo exhibition in Hiroshima, features a group of works that focus on the non-questioning of reality by expressing the artist's unique visual responses in oil painting. It was an opportunity for many people to come into contact with his visual research through the appreciation of his works, and to be inspired to think about the future of art.
