KATO NOZOMI

[Comment from the artist]

Thank you very much to everyone who came to Kato Nozomi's solo exhibition "Flowers and Sunshine," everyone who welcomed my works, and everyone who cared about me from afar.

This was my first solo exhibition in Hiroshima in two years, and I was really happy that so many people came to visit in good weather throughout the exhibition.

I aimed to create an exhibition space like a warm, sunny spot in this exhibition, and I hope that through the works you were able to feel the difference in my two forms of expression - my mezzotint works, which I have been working on for a long time, and my drypoint works, which I started this year - as well as my attitude toward each type of work.

When I return to Tokyo, I will use what I have gained from this solo exhibition as fuel to work hard and enjoy my daily creations and activities.

I hope that you will continue to watch over me kindly in the future.
